Your 1Password vaults,
backed up on your own Mac.
A tiny command-line tool that exports every vault you allow to plain JSON and CSV – on a schedule, into a folder you choose. No servers, no subscription, no lock-in.
Quick start
No account to create, nothing to configure by hand – run it and follow the prompts.
npx get-reflectInstall
Have Node 18+ and the 1Password CLI on your Mac – that's the only setup.
Run the wizard
One command verifies your token live, then asks where and how often to back up.
Forget it
A native launchd schedule runs your backups automatically from then on.
What does it do?
Set it and forget it
A guided wizard installs a native launchd schedule – daily, weekly, or monthly, including intervals like every 2 weeks. If your Mac sleeps through a run, it catches up on wake.
Two formats, every vault
Each vault is exported as a full-fidelity backup.json with every field, plus a spreadsheet-friendly backup.csv matching 1Password's own export columns.
Least privilege by design
It authenticates with a read-only Service Account token that can only see vaults you explicitly grant. Your master password is never involved.
Your storage, your rules
Backups land in dated folders – in iCloud Drive by default, or any path you pick. Files are written owner-only (0600), so other accounts on the Mac can't read them.
Runs on your machine
Native to macOS today – Windows and Linux are on the way.

See it in action
Real output, not a mockup – one command installs everything, verifies your token live, and schedules the backups.
